Dubbed ‘Bacola’ by Ralph Fitch, the first Englishman to visit Bengal in the 1580s, Barisal is a haven of interconnected rivers, canals and creeks that form a mesmerizing network. Drawing both domestic and international tourists each year, Barisal offers a Backwater Tour, allowing visitors to explore the scenic beauty of Swarupkathi. Known for its abundant Guava orchards, Hog Plum, Coconut and Palm trees, as well as a unique floating market, Barisal boasts diverse aquatic life and water birds. Day - 2 Dhaka

Embark on an enchanting journey through the vibrant streets of Old Dhaka as we commence our Old Dhaka City tour. Immerse yourself in the captivating blend of chaos and beauty that defines this historic area. Your curated sightseeing adventure will unveil the rich tapestry of life and landmarks that make Old Dhaka a cultural treasure.

The highlights of your exploration include a visit to The Curzon Hall is a British Raj-era building and home of the Faculty of Sciences at the University of Dhaka, Marvel at the grandeur of Lalbagh Fort, a splendid Mughal fortress that stands as a testament to Dhaka’s rich architectural heritage. Find serenity at the Dhakeshwari Temple, a place of worship that resonates with spiritual significance. The journey continues with a visit to Ahsan Manzil, known as the Pink Palace of Dhaka, a majestic structure echoing the opulence of a bygone era. Discover the intricate beauty of the Star Mosque, a Mughal masterpiece adorned with stunning mosaic artwork. Day - 3 Dhaka – Barisal

Morning check-out from the hotel and meet our guide at the lobby.

Embark on an enchanting journey across the vibrant Padma Bridge, spanning the mighty river, and delve into the Rural and Urban culture of Bangladesh. Immerse yourself in the captivating blend of chaos and beauty that characterizes this picturesque area. The journey to Barisal will take approximately 4.5 hours. Check into the hotel. Same day we will do some local sightseeing of Barisal city including Boro Bazar, Christian Church then drive to visit a pottery village.

Day - 4 Barisal

Early morning meets our guide at lobby and drive to Banaripara by Tuk-Tuk for an hour. After arrival embark on our waiting boat and start immediately towards the floating market (floating market depends on the days and time). Breakfast will be served on the boat, the whole day you will cruise on small canals and creeks. Enjoy a charming view of the countryside, visit some village markets and the coconut shell factory.

Tea and coffee will be ready always on the boat. In the late afternoon, we will return to your hotel.

Day - 5 Barisal – Dhaka

Early morning around 7:00 AM drive to Swarupkathi. Upon arrival start cruising immediately. Visit the biggest Log Markets in our country. Also, visit sawmills and see how workers work efficiently but without any protection.

Lunch will be served on the boat in the same style as yesterday. Visit rural areas and some guava orchards, hog plum orchards, and a rural primary school. If you bring some candies for the children, they will be extremely happy. Return to Barisal and transfer to your hotel. Freshen up and get ready to depart for Dhaka.

Day - 5 Departure from Dhaka

Time at leisure until check-out from the hotel and transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
