Day - 3 Flight to Chittagong & Drive to Bandarban

After an early breakfast, transfer to the airport for a short domestic flight (about 45 minutes) from Dhaka to Chattogram (Chittagong).

Upon arrival, you’ll embark on a scenic 2.5–3 hour drive through the countryside to Bandarban, deep in the green hills of the Chittagong Hill Tracts. Arrive by midday and check in to a hillside resort, followed by lunch. In the afternoon, visit the striking Buddha Dhatu Jadi temple (Golden Temple) perched on a hill, and enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding valley. Day - 4 Bandarban to Rangamati (Hill Tracts Adventure)

Depart Bandarban after breakfast for a scenic drive to Rangamati, another beautiful town in the Hill Tracts (approximately a 5-hour journey through hilly roads Enjoy views of lush forests, terraced farms, and small villages along the way. Arrive around midday and check in to your hotel by the picturesque Kaptai Lake. After lunch, explore some local sights: walk across the famous Hanging Bridge (Jhulonto Bridge) for great lake views, visit a local Buddhist monastery or the Chakma tribal king’s palace to learn about the region’s culture, and browse the handicraft bazaar for handmade textiles and souvenirs.

Day - 5 Kaptai Lake Cruise & Return to Dhaka

Start the day with a relaxing boat cruise on Kaptai Lake after breakfast. Glide across calm waters surrounded by emerald hills, and stop at a traditional Chakma tribal village on an island to meet local residents and see their way of life.

If water levels permit, you’ll also visit the scenic Shuvolong Waterfall, hidden in the forest (a highlight especially in the rainy season). Return to Rangamati for lunch, then bid farewell to the hill country as you drive back to Chattogram (about 3 hours by road). In the late afternoon, catch a flight from Chattogram back to Dhaka.
